Andrea Says: Dinosaur parks are awesome!

After saying goodbye to Brandon, Laura and Zoe the boys headed to Arlington National Cemetery. From what I am told they took some adorable pictures. But that will have to wait until they get to a place with better internet signal.

At Arlington National Cemetery whey watched the changing of the guards at the tomb of the Unknown Soldier. Mike said a ton of people were there.

Then they hit the road, a bit later than desired. The boys went through Vienna, VA a city filled with “franchise crap.” They found a nice Mexican joint: Anita’s New Mexico style Mexican restaurant. Mike got a taco salad with chicken and Paul got a Burrito Loco. Both dishes where delicious. Also on the menu was a Mr. T. Not sure of the ingredients, but “I pity the fool” that didn’t order it.

Heading toward West Virginia the boys traveled nice country roads with “perfectly groomed farms” and cows.

They stumbled across Dinosaur Land an Educational Prehistoric Forest of giant plaster dinosaurs. Mike said it looked like some kid made them out of play-dough and blew them up 100 percent. There was also a shark and octopus behind a chain link fence. The boys posed for a few shots (again, we are going to have to wait for these images). The entire place, Mike said, was really run down. (according to its website, they also do birthday parties)

Once in West Virginia it started to rain and they couldn’t find lodging near some telescope they planned on visiting tomorrow. So they headed back to Virginia. I found them a hotel online. Mike says they both have big boy beds and a neat powder room. He said the entire place is very ’70s.

Tomorrow they head to Tennessee where the weather should be a bit warmer and dry.

  3. Josh, I know. I don't think I can keep it up when then hit a different time zone. But we'll see.

Troch, I can't wait to see the photos from the park. I bet there is one of paul/mike punching a T-Rex.

  4. I'm going to guess 1 double punch photo, one being eaten photo, and potentially one escaping from the mouth photo. Don't let us down boys.
