It's snowing outside. Snowing. We rode through some of it, but luckily got to our motel in Durango before it got any worse. We just ate dinner and we're watching Terminator 2 on AMC with the heat cranked up.
Tomorrow we head to Moab, Utah to try to see some dinosaur tracks. It'll be chilly and wet again, but not like today. The man that checked us into the motel this evening said that we will lose a bunch of altitude before long tomorrow on our way to Utah. Thank goodness.
By the way, Paul and I put plastic bags on our feet today, outside our socks, but inside our boots. We can't figure out how, but we both had soggy feet by the time we got to Durango this evening. It's a mystery!
We used to wear bread bags under our boots to stay warm and dry. Ii didn't work then either.
